Warranty, Returns & Shipping Policy

1. Scope of Warranty

INNOVOCEAN Boats (“we”, “our”, “us”) warrants that our boats are free from defects in material and workmanship for the durations set out below. A copy of the original purchase receipt is required for all warranty claims, along with supporting documentation such as photos or service records.

2. Duration of Coverage

• 5-Year Warranty on buoyancy tube fabric and seams for the Metal Master, Jet Master, Osprey A, ALS, ALD, ALC, NS Deluxe and ALC Deluxe Series.
• 2-Year Warranty on buoyancy tube fabric and seams for the Osprey B and Navisoul Series. Warranty extensions may be available at time of purchase.
• 1-Year Warranty on clearance sale boats.
• 1-Year Warranty on hull, floor, attachments and accessories including floorboards, seats, oar locks, lifting handles, D-rings, valves, anchor holders, consoles, gauges, lights, pumps, switches, steering components, Bimini tops, wheels, ladders, and transom integrity.
• 30-Day Warranty on boat bags (carry bag, bow bag, seat cushion, under-seat bag) and free promotional items.

Repair or replacement does not extend the original warranty expiration date.

3. Non-Transferable Warranty

This warranty applies only to the original registered owner and is not transferable.

4. What the Warranty Does NOT Cover

• Normal wear and tear, discoloration, or fading.
• Damage from neglect, lack of maintenance, accident, misuse, or improper storage.
• Damage caused by harsh chemicals, solvents, or fuel contamination.
• Any seam separation due to heat or overinflation.
• Use of non-INNOVOCEAN parts or unauthorized alterations.
• Damage during shipping, warehousing, or winter outdoor storage.
• Incidental or consequential costs of any kind.
• Cleaning time required before repairs.
• Damage caused by overloading or oversized engine use.
• Damage caused by leaving inflatable boats outside during winter.
• Warranty is void if the outboard motor is not securely fixed to the transom.
• Air loss over time (normal for inflatable boats).

5. Commercial Use Warranty

Products purchased for rental or commercial use—including camps, resorts, clubs, organizations or businesses—are limited to:

• 120 days warranty on parts
• 2 years warranty on PVC material

6. Owner Responsibility

The owner/operator is responsible for safe operation and compliance with all provincial and federal regulations. We strongly recommend that at least one other person onboard is familiar with basic safety operations. Please read and understand the entire owner's manual before using the boat.

7. Return Policy

7-Day Return Policy from the date of purchase.

To be eligible for a return:

• Item must be unused and in original packaging.
• Original proof of purchase is required.
• No returns on labour or installation services.
• No returns on shipping fees.
• Outboard motors are final sale; warranty handled by the manufacturer.
• SUP boards & inflatables under 16 ft are subject to a 20% restocking fee.

8. Shipping and Pick-Up Policy

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility. Shipping fees are non-refundable.

For credit card purchases over CAD $300:

• Shipping is available only to the billing address or a verified local depot.
• Photo ID may be required.
• No delivery to PO boxes.

For pick-ups:

• Only the cardholder may pick up.
• Photo ID is required.

9. Warranty Claim Procedure

To make a warranty claim, the customer must provide the original purchase receipt and clear photos or documentation of the issue. Upon verification, INNOVOCEAN may repair or replace the defective part as outlined in the warranty terms. Shipping and transportation costs are the customer's responsibility unless otherwise specified.

10. Limitation of Liability

This warranty is the only expressed warranty offered by INNOVOCEAN. Any implied warranties, including merchantability or fitness for purpose, are limited as allowed by law. INNOVOCEAN is not liable for incidental or consequential damages.
